JAMMU, Dec 13: Vishwa Kashmiri Pandit Samaj (VKPS) in association with Team Jammu, Global Solace (NGO) and Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Society with the help of Medanta Hospital (Medicity) is organizing two days free mega health check up camp at Jagti township in Nagrota on December 16 and 17.
Addressing a joint press conference, Kiran Wattal, Convener, VKPS, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman, Team Jammu, Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman Healthy India Stronger India, Dr Yudhvir Gupta, Sudhanshu Sharma (Medicity), Gautam Goel, Pintu Ji, Rajesh Gupta, Patron, Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Society said that all organizations are keen to provide better healthcare facilities to Jammuites and as a start of their joint initiative, this two day free health check up camp is being organized. Registration forms have already been sent to different villages so that people can get themselves registered for the free checkup camp.
“The organization has appealed the members of the community as well the residents of J&K to participate in the camp with zeal to get themselves medical checkup free of cost by team of specialized doctors. All the lab investigations including blood sugar, complete blood counts, Lipid Profile, Kidney Function Tests (Urea, Creatinine, Uric Acid, S.Sodium S.Potassium), Liver Function Tests, H Bs Ag, Rheumatoid Factor and other specialized tests and also ECG, BMD, PFT and Echo Cardiography will be carried out free of cost”, said Kiran Wattal.
The doctors team from Medicity will be comprised of Dr Vijay Kohli (Cardiologist), Dr SK Taneja (Cardiologist), Dr Govind Sharma (Cardiologist), Dr Anand Jaiswal (Chest and Respiratory), Dr Sanjat Goja (Consultant Liver Disease) and Dr Arvind Sharma (General Physician). Another team of specialist doctors will be comprised of Dr Sushil Razdan (Neurologist), Dr Yudhvir Gupta (Pathologist), Dr Jagdish Thapa (Psychiatrist), Dr Rakesh Gupta (Paedodontist), Dr Sunil Kotwal (ENT), Dr Indu Koul (Gynaecologist), Dr Jyoti Haq (Gynaecologist), Dr Abdul Ghani (Orthopaedic), Dr Amit Vaid (Laser Aesthetic, Cosmetic and Dermato Surgeon) and Dr Ankur Goel (Eye Specialist).
