Four students injured in clash at Commerce College

JAMMU, Jan 31: Four students were injured in a clash at Government SPMR College of Commerce, Canal Road here today.
As per police sources, two student groups entered into verbal dual at Government SPMR College of Commerce, Canal Road but Principal of the institution intervened and pacified them.
Later, the student groups clashed in the college premises in which four students received injuries.
On getting information, police party from Canal Road police post rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured students have been identified as Sahil, son of Ravi Kumar of Akhnoor, Varun Badyal, son of Ashok Kumar of Talab Tillo, Dhruv Gupta, son of Anil Gupta of Channi Himmat and Rohit Gupta of Satwari.
A case under FIR number 17/14 has been registered at Canal Road police post and manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
