Four injured as truck rolls down

UDHAMPUR, Oct 24: Four persons were injured when a truck they were travelled in, rolled down into deep gorge at Dogra Morh, near Kud, today.
According to the reports a truck bearing registration number JK03C-1938 was on its way from Kashmir to Jammu. When the truck reached at Dogra Morh on National Highway near Kud, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into deep gorge.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital, Chenani.
The injured have been identified as driver Gulzar Ahmed (45) son of Gulam Mohd of Pulwama Kashmir, Adil Ahmed (18) son of Bashir Ahmed of Anantnag Kashmir, Riyaz Ahmed (40) son of Gulam Mohd of Anantnag Kashmir, and one pedestrian Rakesh Sharma (23) son of Thaker Dass of Dogra Chenani.
Doctors after examining the truck driver Gulzar Ahmed referred him to District Hospital Udhampur.
Meanwhile, Kud Police has registered the case and stated investigation.
