Four injured in accidents

SRINAGAR, Jan 14: Police today said four persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said an oil tanker bearing registration number JK02BJ-6847 hit a pedestrian namely Dawlat Singh at Sempora in Pantha Chowk area on city outskirts.  “The injured was shifted to Bone & Joints Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The police spokesman said a Swift car bearing registration number JK09-7343 hit three pedestrians namely Rizwan Ahmad Akhoon, Illyas Ahmad Sheikh and Firdousa at main market Kupwara. “All the injured persons were shifted to Kupwara Hospital for treatment, wherefrom one of the injured Illyas Ahmad Sheikh was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
