SRINAGAR, Jan 8: Police today arrested four gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs.7050 from a gambling site in Soura area of Srinagar.
A police spokesman said, after receiving information about the gambling, a police party of Police Station, Soura headed by SHO, Ayaz Geelani raided a gambling site at Graveyard Umerhair and apprehended four gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 7050 and gambling cards from the site.
The accused were identified as Fayaz Ahmed Dar, a resident of Hanji Mohalla Umerhair Soura, Bilal Ahmed Khan, a resident of Zaripara Zoonimar, Javed Ahmed Kaloo, a resident of Noorbagh and Shabir Ahmed Mir, a resident of Shalabagh Zaddibal.
