JAMMU, Nov 8: Four-day annual Ved Prachar programme organized by Arya Samaj Mandir, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, concluded today with Rishi Langer (Preeti Bhoj).
Daily Yajan, Bhajan and Pravachan were the main features of the programme. Pravachans (sermons) were delivered by renowned scholars, Acharya Virender from Kathua and Acharya Sandeep from Mahatma Rasila Ram Vedic Vanprasth Ashram and Gurukul Anand Dham Garhi Udhampur. Bhajans were sung by Sandeep from Delhi.
The main purpose of the organizing the programme was to make people aware of our Vedic Philosophy, which had almost lost its existence for last 100 years.
Maharishi Dayanand Sarswati, a great Saint, social reformer, a motivating force behind Indian freedom movement, founder of Arya Samaj and above all a Vedic Scholar, has not only done a great work for revival and survival of Vedic Philosophy in India but has also sacrificed his life for the noble cause.
Acharya Sandeep and Acharya Virender during their sermons strongly supported the Vedic Philosophy by saying that the only way to achieve the aim of life i.e. ‘Moksh’ is by following the path of Vedas and none else.
Yogesh Gupta successfully anchored the programme for all four days.
