JAMMU, Feb 18: Forum for Rights and Justice a social organisation organised a free medical camp at Gajansoo in Marh block today.
Renowned doctors examined the patients during the camp.
General physicians, child specialists and surgeons were available for the patients during the camp.
A number of local people got free medical advice in the camp. Prominent personalities who attended the medical camp were MLA and ex-Minister Sukhnandan Choudhary who was also the chief guest on the occasion. Guest of Honor Subash Jandial Vice Chairman SIDCO (J&K), was the guest of honour, Paramjeet Singh SDM Marh, Babu Ram Choudhary Tehsildar Marh, Rajinder Singh Tara BDO Marh, Dr Anil Manhas BMO Marh were the special guests.
The doctors who were available at the camp were Dr. Sachit, Registrar Paediatrics GMC Jammu, Dr. Sanjeev K Digra Associate Professor Paediatrics GMC Jammu, Dr. Gagan Bali M.S Surgeon, Dr. Rajinder Kumar Medical Officer.
Speaking on the occasion, Sukhnandan Choudhary said that these types of activities are the need of rural areas and it should be encouraged. He further said that he will give his full cooperation in future also. He complimented Sanjay Bansal, Chairman of the Forum for Rights and Justice for organising the camp.
