DODA, Nov 9: Three Forest officials including an Incharge Forester were placed under suspension today on the charge of massive illegal felling in Chirala Range of Bhaderwah Forest Division.
Official sources said that on the complaints of massive illegal felling in Chairala Range in connivance of some insiders in the Department, a joint inspection was conducted by FPF and Territorial Forest officials in Tanta area. The team found 53 trees of Deodar and Kail fallen in the area. They submitted the report to Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle T B Singh.
On the basis of report, the CF placed I/C Forester Ramesh Kumar, and Beat Guards- Javed Ahmed and Mohd Shafi of Charala Range under suspension.
