Scores of employees under the banner of All J&K State Forest Corporation Employees Union assembled at Pratap Park here and raised slogans against the Government to press for their demands.
Chanting slogans, the protesters were demanding regularization of daily rated workers, protection of State Forest Corporation, release of pending daily allowances and implementation of Seventh Pay Commission.

Government has announced Seventh Pay Commission for Government sector but the public sector has been deprived of the seventh pay Commission benefits due to unknown reasons. The daily allowances of the employees are pending after Sixth Pay Commission. We are being forced to come on roads due to non-fulfillment of our demands,” they said
