FMPHWs Association meets DHS

Excelsior Correspondent KATHUA, Sept 22: A deputation of Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHWs) Association led by its president Sushil Susan and secretary general, Vinod Kumar Sharma met Director Health Services (DHS), Dr Madhu Khullar, and put forth their demands. The delegation demanded up-gradation of FMPHWs on the pattern of pharmacist, lab assistant, dental assistant and others, creation of posts of LHVs in new PHCs and quota for promotion of trained FMPHWs as health educators. Director Health Services gave a patient hearing to their demands and assured to take up the same with the higher authorities positively. Among others present were district president, JKMEF, Balkar Singh, general secretary Surinder Kumar, Rajesh Bala, president, FMPHWs Association, Sunita Devi, vice president, Rajni Bala, general secretary, Neeta Rani and Devo Rani, members, JKMEF.
