Five injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Jan 31: Police today said five persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Bandipora and Budgam districts of Valley.
A police spokesman said a Sumo bearing registration number JK05C-9144 turned turtle at Sari Dangerpora village of Sumbal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, resulting in injuries to four passengers boarding the vehicle. “All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK04D-1880 hit a child namely Burhan Parvaiz at Magam area of Budgam district. “The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
