Five injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Jan 22: Five persons were injured today in three separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Manohar Lal (33) son of Madan Lal, resident of Akhnoor, his wife namely Sapna Devi and their 5-year-old son, Daksh, got injured when a bike on which they were going, was hit by a car at Akhnoor.
At Janipur area of city outskirts, a 10-year-old boy identified as Adarsh son of Daleep Singh, resident of Janipur, was hit and injured by a scooty. A pedestrian namely Vanita Nayar (45) wife of Prem Kumar, resident of Jain Bazaar, was injured after she was hit by a bike at Jain Bazaar.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all three cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
