JAMMU, Jan 3: Fire erupted in the record room of Agriculture Department at Talab Tillo, resulting into gutting of all the records.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the record room of Agriculture Department at Talab Tillo probably due to short circuit, this morning.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and fire tenders along with fire fighters were pressed into service to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the record kept in the room got gutted.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident.
Nowabad police has taken cognizance in this regard and started investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
