Fire breaks out at Assembly complex backyard

JAMMU, Jan 11: Fire broke out at the backyards of Legislative Assembly complex where some plastic pipes and waste material were kept, here this afternoon.
However, due to timely action by Fire and Emergency personnel of Fire Station New Secretariat, the flames were controlled from spreading further.
The incident took place this afternoon around 2 pm and the fire broke out in the backyards of Assembly complex, behind the under-construction New Assembly Complex.
Some waste material, plastic pipes and garbage were lying at the site. Besides the Fire and Emergency personnel, the Civil Secretariat security men also rushed to the site and assisted in dousing the flames.
Taking cognizance of the incident, SSP Security,  Civil Secretariat,  Dushyant Sharma immediately flashed a message to the  Director Estates to remove y the waste material kept outside the premises of Secretariat  at various places.
Later, Municipal Commissioner also visited the spot and ordered deputing additional staff to immediately remove the waste material lying there.
Pertinent to mention that a few days back, fire had broken out on rooftop of a store in the Civil Secretariat Jammu.
