POONCH, Aug 8: Gursai police today registered an FIR against school staff and some students besides a few locals for raising pro-Pakistan slogans during bandh and protest over 35-A on August 6 at Govt Higher Secondary School Bhata Durian.
A police official said that an FIR No. 55/ 2018 has been registered against some staff members, students and a few locals for raising pro-Azadi and pro-Pak slogans during protest near Bhata Durian School.
The local Sub Divisional Administration, Mendhar taking serious note of the matter, directed the SHO Gursai, Insp Sanjay Gupta to register an FIR against the accused persons and book them under sedition. The spokesman said that a video also went viral and some people have been identified who had raised objectionable slogans. No arrest has been made so far in this connection.
