Final notice served to 85 doctors for unauthorized absence

JAMMU, July 10: Government has issued final notice to 85 doctors (48 from Jammu Division and 37 from Kashmir Division) for remaining on unauthorized absence, directing them to report back to their duties within a period of 15 days failing which disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against them.
The order, which was issued on Monday by Health and Medical Education Department, said, “Despite serving notices to these doctors, they remained on unauthorized absence from their duties. Therefore, after examination of their cases, these doctors are given last and final opportunity to report back for duties in their respective Directorates within a period of 15 days failing which it shall be presumed that the concerned doctors have nothing to say in their defence and disciplinary proceedings under Article 128 of CSR Vol-I shall be initiated against them.
