SAMBA, July 4: Former Minister and MLA Basholi, Ch Lal Singh addressed a public meeting at Veer Bhoomi Park here today in which large number of people of Samba including members of social organisations , prominent citizens and youth participated.
Addressing the meeting, Ch.Lal Singh said that national media made a wrong perception in Rasana rape and murder case and presented wrong image of Jammu people. He said every Jammuite wanted a CBI inquiry in Rasana rape and murder case so that eight years old girl gets justice and for this our fight will continue.
He also said that former CM, Mehbooba Mufti played with the sentiments of Jammu people and handed over the case to Crime Branch of Kashmir to create a wedge between two communities.
Ch Lal Singh also said that due to her mishandling of the case the people of Jammu were dubbed as pro rapist and that is not tolerable. He said that in Shopian case Mehbooba Mufti demanded CBI inquiry and CBI inquiry was ordered but why she did not recommend the same in Rasana rape and murder case, he asked?.
He also said that Mehbooba Mufti always discriminated with the Jammu people and played a politics of polarization.
He said now the time has come for the Jammu Dogras to unite without the considerations of caste, creed and religions and show their identity as Jammu Dogra so that our fight for the justice reaches to its logical conclusion. He also gave a message to the youth of society that don’t fall a prey to drug addiction because drugs spoil the life of youth. Instead the youth should concentrate on studies and sports, he added.
