KATRA, Aug 14: A middle aged female pilgrim from Uttar Pradesh died at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, here today, after she suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
The deceased was identified as Sharmila Sharma (50), wife of Chandrika Prasad Sharma, of village Shrikantpur, P/O Shahid Gaon, District Chandoli, UP. She fell unconscious near neat number 03 at the Bhawan. She was immediately shifted to dispensary Bhawan where doctors declared her as brought dead.
Meanwhile, reports from Shivkhori said that there was a narrow escape when a big boulder fell on a restaurant and cracked the roof. However, there was no harm to human lives even as the roof of the restaurant was badly damaged.
