Taking serious note of attacks on Kashmiri students in some States, the National Conference president said they shouldn’t be targeted as they have nothing to do with the attack.
“The people of Kashmir want to live with respect,” Dr Abdullah said.
He said during yesterday’s All Party Meeting called by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi, he had made it clear that it was the Central Government, which was at fault as it doesn’t understand aspirations of the people.
“Our students are being attacked. We are not responsible (for the attack). We have nothing to do with outfits,” Dr Abdullah said.
