Fake gun licences racket busted, 2 arrested

JAMMU, May 10: Gangyal police busted a fake gun licences racket with the arrest of two persons and recovery of more than 500 fake gun licences from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station conducted raid at New Army Gun House at Kaluchack and recovered more than 500 fake gun licences.
Police team arrested two persons on the spot, who were found involved in making fake gun licences.
The accused have been identified as Raju Khosla, son of Gulzar Khosla, a resident of Bakshi Nagar and Prem Chand, son of Vinod Kumar, a resident of Channi Himmat.
A case under FIR Number 41/18 under Sections 420, 419, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B RPC has been registered against them at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal SI Nayat Ali busted the gang under the supervision of SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, SP South Sandeep Choudhary and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
