Apropos of “Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism” (DE 4.11.2017) the learned author of the above said article has committed an error of historical fact while writing about birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The name of that town was Rai Bhoi Ki Talvandi, which is now known as Nankana Sahib. The other Talvandi quoted by author, is in India Punjab. Also, the couplet of Guru Nanak Devi Ji quoted regarding emancipation of woman requires to be corrected as ‘So Kyoun Manda Aakhyae Jit Jammeh Raajaan’.
