JAMMU, Feb 14: Two employees of Excise and Taxation Department brought laurels to the State by winning one gold and three silver medals in the recently concluded All India Masters Athletics Championship at Alwar in Rajasthan.
Amit Sharma from the Excise Department clinched one gold and one silver in 400 mtrs and 200 mtrs races respectively, while Vishal Sharma from State Taxes Department also clinched two silver medals in Walk and 5000 mtrs.
Both the players had represented in National Masters Athletic Championship at Jaipur also.
It is pertinent to mention here that last year both the players had participated in the Indo Bangla Masters Championship at Delhi.
