Excise sleuths destroy 1200 kgs lahan

KATHUA, May 18: The sleuths of Excise Department conducted raids in various areas of the district here and destroyed 1200 kilograms lahan.
As per official spokesman, on the directions of the Excise Commissioner Mohammad Javed Khan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Ghanshyam Singh, the Excise Team Kathua led by ETO Excise Range Kathua Sandeep Gupta, Inspectors Excise Arun Kumar and Shadi Lal and Enforcement and Eradication Wing Jammu along with excise staff conducted raids in Banyari, Sunjwan, Chartyala and Upper Saktachak areas of Kathua district.
During raids, more than 1200 kilograms of lahan was recovered and later destroyed.
