Srinagar, May 18: Haji Ghulam Ahmad Dar, grandfather of senior Excelsior photojournalist Shakeel-ur-Rehman, passed away here today.
Dar, who hails from Rangparistan locality of Rainawari and was presently living at Beigh Mohalla, Private Colony, Bagh-e-Mehtab, was suffering from brief illness and passed away at 10:30 am today, family said.
In this connection, a condolence meeting of Srinagar Bureau of Excelsior was held wherein special prayers were held for departed soul. The family of the deceased said that mourning will be for three days only.
