JAMMU, Apr 17: Former MLC and chief spokesperson of PCC, Ravinder Sharma has strongly condemned Pakistani troops for resorting to heavy shelling from across the LoC on civilian areas in Nowshera sector today.
In press statement Sharma strongly condemned Pakistan for the ceasefire violation and unprovoked shelling in civilian area causing great sufferings and hardship to the population in border area of Nowshera sector.
He lashed out at the Pakistan for its hostility towards India and violation international norms targeting the civilian areas. He asked Govt. and administration to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the people.
He regretted that due to heavy shelling large number of devotees could not attend the religious congregation at the Shrine of Baba Beeram Shah ji at Jhangar, Nowshera today, as large number of devotees from different parts had to return halfway.
