Ex-MLA for restoration of infrastructure

KALAKOTE, Feb 7: State Secretary, National Conference and former MLA Kalakote, Rachpal Singh today lashed out at the PDP-BJP Govt for reversing the course of development during the past two years due to lack of political will and governance deficit.
“The State, especially its remote areas are suffering on account of utility services, basic minimum needs and lack of accountability of the chosen representatives and the administration”, Singh said addressing party workers at Chingus in Kaller block of Kalakote constituency.
He said the constituency is craving for development, as the Government has no vision with regard to ensuring basic minimum necessities to the people. The situation has become precarious due to recent rains which have hugely damaged the infrastructure, especially the road network. He said the people have virtually been left to fend for themselves. Rachpal cautioned the Govt not to test the patience of the people by denying them their due, adding that the promises made during elections have proved hoax.
Urging the cadre to get ready for the coming Panchayat elections, the Ex- MLA said that it is an occasion to show the ruling coalition partners their right place.
