JAMMU, June 24: Former MLA Billawar, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today expressed serious concern over the rising graph of militancy in the J&K state.
In a press statement issued here today Dr Sharma while referring to spurt in killings in Kashmir valley and also along borders, cautioned that rise in militancy and militant related activities in the state of J&K is the matter of serious concern for the people as well as the Government at the Centre. It is unfortunate that Modi Govt is not realizing the gravity of the situation and situation is going out of hands, he said.
The Congress leader alleged that such acts have shattered the confidence of general public over Modi Government. It has been observed that the situation of Jammu and Kashmir state particularly Kashmir is alarming due to rise in killing of police persons, paramilitary and armed forces. Dr Sharma strongly condemn the coward and inhuman act of killing of policemen including an officer in Kashmir.
Dr Sharma said that BJP Government and its leadership always believes in talking much and doing nothing to deal with the present serious crisis arisen due to their wrong policies. For the sake of power they have compromised with the state as well as national security. Due to their attitude and experiments the situation is getting worst day by day but BJP and its leaders including ministers are still not in position to do anything and are behaving as mute spectators.
