ESRM presents ‘Paid Lagawo Jeewan Bachhawo’

JAMMU, June 4: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented Vijay Malla’s new progressive nukkad “Paid Lagawo Jeewan Bachhawo” under its Monday Theatre series at slum area along Paloura-Janipur Link Road near Housing Colony, Jammu.
The nukkad educates people about the importance of the trees and motivates them to plant more and more trees in their vicinity. Through the nukkad, the director tries to say that we worship our all the heritage trees keeping our traditions alive but unfortunately our younger generation does not know their importance. He said that time has come to make our younger generation aware and convey them the importance of trees and their existence on earth.
In the nukkad, a group of people are on this mission to aware everybody about bad results of cutting our traditional trees for their own benefits. They explain them that trees are source of their survival in many ways and if we destroy them we will be deprived of fresh air, fresh water. Moreover, we can come across floods earthquakes and other natural calamities.
A bad element is caught red handed by this group when he is ready to cut a traditional tree in his locality. He is warned that he will be legally taken to task if found cutting trees. He feels ashamed and admits his fault. He assures them that he will never indulge in any such illegal activity. He offers his services and joins the group to save forests.
Actors who acted in the nukakd were Kanta Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Raju Mad, Sanju Sharma, Simron Kour and Vijay Malla.
