ESCC crushes KMCC by 5 wkts, qualify for semis

JAMMU, July 3: Eleven Star Cricket Club (ESCC) crushed Kashmiri Mohalla Cricket Club (KMCC), Akhnoor by 5 wickets and qualified for the semis of the ongoing Summer Cup Akhnoor T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Singh Cricket Club at Government Higher Secondary School ground, Akhnoor today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, KMCC put a target of 158 runs for all out in 20 overs. Rinku was top scorer with 35 runs, whereas Rahul and Bablu made 28 and 16 runs respectively.
From Eleven Star Cricket Club (ESCC) side, Vinod was pick of the bowler with 3 wickets and Makhan scaled 2 wickets. Danny and Ravi took one wicket apiece.
In reply, ESCC chased the target for the loss of just 5 wickers in 16.3 overs. Sunil played a magnificent inning of 65 runs, whileas Vinod and Bablu made 29 and 16 runs respectively.
From KMCC side, Rahul scalped 3 wickets, whereas Arun Singh and Rohit claimed 1 wicket each.  Vinod of ESCC was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Sham Singh Langeh and Rajinder Sharma as umpires, whereas Lucky maintained the scoreboard.
This tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh, President, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor.
