Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 30: Seeking a decisive plan for people of border villages who have been moved far inside the International Border (IB) due to cross-border firing, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Hamid Choudhary today said that a fear psychosis has gripped people and they are suffering a lot with uncertainty looming large over their future.
There are still many families who are continuing to migrate from border villages of Arnia and R S Pura. People are not able to cultivate their fields, their livestock is not being looked after properly and most importantly career of students is at stake besides all other social engagements are getting hampered due to dislocation of families, he said.
Choudhary Hamid said besides allotting plots to these people, a separate township with all facilities must be established for affected families so that they could carry on with their routine work.  Their normal life has been shattered and they cannot wait anymore for the last gun to fall silent. A plan for their permanent rehabilitation has to be carved out so that this uncertainty ends once for all.
