Entrepreneurship awareness camp begins at SMVDU

KATRA, Sept 15: Three-Day DST-NIMAT Project sponsored ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp’ (EAC) was inaugurated at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, here today.
The prime objective of the camp is to sensitize the students in the domain areas of entrepreneurship management and related tools. This three days event consists of number of training sessions; interaction with the successful entrepreneur to gain hands-on experience, to inculcate entrepreneurial traits/competencies and enhance confidence amongst the participants.
Moreover, with the objective to provide field exposure, the camp is also going to organize industrial visit for the participants during the event. The EAC is also going to indoctrinate skills to develop business strategies and articulated vision for competitive excellence. The event has evidenced huge participation from the students of B Tech, M Tech, B Arch, MBA etc.
Prof D Mukhopadhayay Dean Faculty of Management was chief guest in the inaugural function. Dr Suparn Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor School of Business, described in detail about the program. Dr Sushil Mehta, Head School of Business also addressed the gathering.
