JAMMU, Feb 19: Managing Director (MD) J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma gave presentation on ensuring secure cyber space for implementation of e-Governance Plans, especially relating to industrialization during Vishakhapatnam Technology Sabha which concluded today at Vishakhapatnam.
In the Technology Sabha held at Vishakhapatnam (Vizag), which was organized by a Media Group, the main focus hovered around transforming nation by introducing various e-Governance reforms especially by providing safe and secure systems/platforms in which various Government departments and institutions of the nation.
Amit Sharma, during his panel discussion on “Security in the age of Digital India” talked about ensuring secure cyber space with uniformity in standards especially for the industrial sector which holds a major proportion of GDP of the nation.
He also suggested few reforms to be incorporated while introducing best eGov practices in Government sector, especially state-run PSUs.
Others who spoke in this panel discussion were Purushottam Sharma, ADGP, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Ravi Prakash Meharda, ADGP Telecom/IT, Government of Rajasthan, Major Gen Sandeep Sharma, ADG Centre for Communication Technology, Indian Army, Brijesh Singh, Spl IGP-Cyber, Government of Maharashtra and Ravi Amar, Regional Manager, Tech Consulting, HPE.
Apart from this, MD J&K SIDCO also actively participated in various power discussions and shared his perspectives on building more simplistic models of eGov.
The Technology Sabha concluded with distribution of eGovernance Recognition Awards to deserving organizations and corporations which had done commendable job in this domain.
