JAMMU, Nov 22: Nami Dogri Sanstha today released the English poetry book “A Ray of Hope”, written by daughter of the soil, Kiran Kanchan.
The book was released by Anjali Sharma, Programme Head, Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu who said English is the Global language and must be conceptualized by one and all.
Dr Manpreet Kour read paper on the book and highlighted various aspects of the English poetry book.
S K Kapoor, Assistant General Manager SBI Jammu, was the guest of honour while Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages was the special guest. S S Anand Lehar, senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, presided over the function.
S K Kapoor said that poetry of Kiran Kanchan preaches love, humanity and develops a quality of creativity. Her poetry contains multifaceted subjects, poetic fancy and slpendour of good quality, he added.
President of Nami Dogri Sanstha, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila also spoke on the occasion.
