Employees seek support in struggle against unbundling of PDD

JAMMU, Sept 22: The Power Development Employees Coordination Committee today held joint campaign on the concerns of employees arising out of the issue of unbundling of the Department and formation of Tradeco out of JKPDD as a first step by the Government vide SRO 396 dated 11th September 2018.
Engineers from degree and diploma associations, Er Sachin Tickoo, Convenor Forum of Engineers, Sanjeev Bali, president PPEU, Ajaz Kazmi, .Jasbir Singh, president ITI Emloyees,.Gurmeet Singh, president Non Gazetted Employees Union, Anil Slathia, Lineman Union, Kulbir Singh of Need Based Employess Union, H D Singh of J&K Techical Employess Federation, Charnjaeet Sharma of PDDEU and Tarun Gupta from PDD Union participated in deliberations discussed threadbare the issue of unbundling and the modus operandi adopted by the Government.
It was felt that Government has kept the employees in dark and there has been no discussion among the stake holder employees while operationalising the plan of unbundling. The Government has failed to issue any Human Resource Policies during the years and employees have been left in lurch. They stressed that the Government should come out with clear policy with respect the locus standi of the employees in these companies.
