Employees seek regularization, implementation of 7th Pay Commission

Srinagar, Jan 9: Scores of employees, pensioners and casual labourers today staged a protest seeking regularization of their services and implementation of 7th Pay Commission at Press Enclave.
Under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir employees, casual labouers and pensioners’ united platform, the employees said that they are protesting in order to invite the attention of the Government towards their regularisation and implementation of 7th Pay Commission. They were also seeking release of pending salaries.
“We urge upon on the State Coalition Government to frame a concrete regularisation policy for all temporary workers who have been engaged after 1994 and want Government to implement 7th Pay Commission,” the protesters added.
