LONDON, Apr 27: Veteran singer-songwriter Elton John has been advised by his friends to relax following his recent health scare.
The 70-year-old singer, who spent two nights in hospital last week battling an infection he picked up during his tour of South America, has been asked by his friends to ease up his schedule, reported Femalefirst.
“Elton has a real close knit circle of friends who are genuinely worried about him. Nobody wants him to burn himself out and they hope this recent scare will encourage him to take stock. But he’s not even considering retirement at present,” a source said.
John is still recovering from the infection and has already cancelled a series of planned performances. (PTI)
