Electrify Govt schools

Sir,
This is in response to Un-Electrified Government Schools in J&K by Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat (Daily Excelsior 17.11.2018). World Bank and UNCIEF have done a lot of work and research on un-electrified schools and I believe they have missed Jammu & Kashmir in their study, otherwise there would have been mention of our state in their surveys and research work on un-electrified schools. Ours is the only state in country that has more than around 80 percent Govt schools un-electrified in this digital age. This is a matter of serious concern. If schools are un electrified how can computer education be imparted to students in these schools ? Computer education is not a luxury but a necessity now and by keeping our Govt schools un electrified we are not only depriving our future generation of basic needs in schools but we are also depriving them of computer education as well.
Without electricity computers can’t work at all. I would suggest that let J&K Government send a proposal to Union Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) who can start electrifying Govt schools with solar energy. This is the best way to electrify government run schools. I appeal Hon’ble Governor S P Malik and his Advisor Khurshid Ganai to seriously think on this proposal.
