EJAC projects workers’ demands

JAMMU, Jan 4: The Jammu & Kashmir Govt Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC-K) has urged upon the State Govt to implement 7th Pay Commission report and remove pay anomalies of the clerical cadre.
In a meeting of the EJAC held here under the chairmanship of Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, State president, at Rail Head Complex today, the workers discussed their pending issues. They strongly opposed SRO-520 announced by the Govt for the regularisation of  daily wagers and said it was joke with them.  They also opposed  SRO 525 putting ban on using social media by the employees.
They demanded that pay anomalies be removed in the grades of clerical cadre  and Medical allowance of the employees  and pensioners should be enhanced. They sought implementation of 7th pay panel report without any delay.
Balwinder Singh, Ravi Singh Bhau, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Kirpal Singh and  Amreek Singh were also present in the meeting.
