SRINAGAR, June 5: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) led by its president Abdul Qayoom Wani today held a meeting to finalize the arrangements for the June 10 protest programme, a statement issued by the EJAC said here.
According to the statement the meeting was attended by all the Central, Provincial and District level office bearers of the EJAC.
“All the office bearers of EJAC assured the President that the employees working in different departments attached with them shall rush to Srinagar on June 10 and gather near Exhibition Ground to march towards secretariat and shall ghaerao the same with their leaders,” it said.
The leaders who participated in the meeting were Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam, Farooq Ahmad Trali, Khurshid Ahmad Bhat, Haji Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Manzoor Ahmad Pampori, Khalid Mehmood Khan, Farooq Ahmad Khan, Nusrat Ahmad Beigh, Ghulam Mohammad Hamdard, Ghulam Rasool Bhat, Mohammad Rouf Wani, Syed Aftab Ahmad Andrabi, Peer Nissar Ahmad, Sameem Bazaz, Shakeel Ahmad, Nissar Ahmad Rawa, Haji Zahoor Ahmad, Mohammad Ashraf Gassi and others.
