EJAC demands streamlining of PMSSS

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Sept 1: An emergency session of Employees Joint Action Committee was convened under the chairmanship of senior JCC leader and president EJAC, Abdul Qayoom Wani today.
The session took a strong notice of the frustration caused to the students by delay in the payment of scholarship to the students pursuing their studies in different colleges out-side the State under Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme.
While addressing the session, Mr Wani said that despite tall claims of Government, the J&K students have been put to trouble and mental agony. The inordinate delay in MHRD in releasing the scholarship has left the students to fend for themselves. He urged the State Chief Minister and Minister for Education to intervene into the matter personally and resolve the issue.
