EJAC demands implementation of 7th Pay Panel report

JAMMU, Jan 4:  Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC), has urged upon the State Government to implement 7th Pay Commission report in favour of State employees and pensioners.
In a meeting of the EJAC (K) held here today under the leadership of Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, the members issued appeal to the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti  to implement the 7th Pay Commission recommendations in the State. They said that due to inflation, the working class has been badly hit and the Govt should keep provision in the coming Budget for the  same.
They also demanded regularization of daily wagers and casual/ need based workers, release of their pending wages and  enhance Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners.
Senior trade unionists Dharminder Singh, Ravi Singh Bhau  and Dev Anand Gill also spoke in the meeting.
