BARAMULLA: Eight Army soldiers, including a Major were injured in a mysterious blast in the woods in the frontier district of Kupwara, official source said here on Tuesday evening. He said an explosion took place in the woods at Nagranad, Zachaldara in Handwara in Kupwara on Tuesday resulting in injuries to eight soldiers, including a Major.
All the injured were rushed to military hospital Drugmulla where from two seriously wounded including Major have been referred to army’s 92 base hospital for specialized treatment. They said the cause of blast was being ascertained. (AGENCIES)
