Educational scenario

Sir,
Experience reveals, where education reaches, poverty and backwardness run away. It is no denying the fact that long strides made by the State in this direction have been unique in the light of geographical and  economical odds it faces. But corruption, nepotism and favouritism have derailed the system beyond measures. Numerous schools, established on the demands of the masses earlier, now stand closed as the people’s attraction for such schools is almost lost. Shortage of enrolment isn’t unlikely to put locks to many more schools. When a common man is reluctant to send his ward in Govt  school, what to speak of employees and businessmen.
What  people demand, is quality education for their children, but when it appears non-attainable, the routes are changed. If the Govt fails to initiate necessary steps to introduce certain reforms, the educational sector, considered the best, especially for providing employment opportunities to our youths and for promotion of education, will soon come to halt.  It is tragedy of the  system of governance that  policies are made and changed  with change of flags. Provision for good facilities like Mid Day Meal, free book and uniforms, is very good, but unless quality education isn’t delivered, everything goes waste. So, deep introspection is needed to make the system result-oriented.
Yours etc….
