Education Officers project demands

JAMMU, Dec 28: J&K School Education Officers Association (SEOA) has expressed anguish over the delaying tactics of State Government to concede the long pending demands of School Education Officers.
In a statement issued here today, Paramjit Singh, president, School Education Officers Association, Jammu said that association has apprised to the higher authorities concerned time and again regarding their just and genuine demands, but nothing has been done so far.
The association has highlighted the demands  stressing that all Incharge Officers / Headmasters, Principals and ZEOs and equivalent be regularized, their vacation be treated as non-vocational at par with their counterparts, grade of 9300-34800 with grade pay 5400 be given to Headmasters at par with +2 Lecturers by removing anomaly, increase in promotional quota of Headmasters from 20% to 50% while promoting as Principal and  change of nomenclature from Headmaster to Principal Secondary School etc.
The association has appealed to the Chief Minister to personally intervene and resolve the issues at the earliest.
