Education is the biggest empowering tool: Jora

LEH, Sept, 28: Education is the biggest empowering tool which acts as leveller of the society where no cast or creeds matters in the society.
This was stated by CLP leader Leh MLA Nawang Rigzin Jora at the Riglam School annual day celebration function, here.
Biglam a charitable school is run by Ladakh Buddhist Association Youth Wing.
Stressing the need for cultivating an education culture in the family just like the Kashmiri Pandits or handful of Parssi, Jora said that Ladakh being located on tough geographically terrain only education has the potential to make people shine and succeed in every field.
Expressing his satisfaction over the School management for running the school successfully to provide quality education to destitute children, Jora said that such mission of LBA can make the school role model in years to come.
LBA President Tsewang Thinles also spoke on the occasion, while LBA Women President Tsewang Dolma donated Rs. 3 lakh and laptop set for Riglam school Hostel.
Riglam Educational Management Committee Chairman PT Kunzang highlighted the achievements of the school.
Earlier, LBA Youth Wing President Rinchen Namgyal presented welcome address.
Students presented a colourful cultural programme to enthrall the audience.
Later, chief guest distributed certificates and souvenirs to the position holders in various fields.
