ECC registers 8-wkt win over FCC in 1st Martyrs Cup

JAMMU, Mar 8: Emerging Cricket Club (ECC) registered 9 wicket win over Friends Cricket Club (FCC) in the ongoing 1st Martyrs Cup Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Physical Education Department, GGM Science College at Hostel Ground, here.
Earlier, FCC won the toss and scored a modest total of 113 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Rahul top scored with 49 runs, while Vishal contributed 15 runs to the total. For ECC, Aamir,  Aziz, Zavar and Jasir took 2 wickets each.
In reply, ECC scored 114 runs in just 14 overs, losing just 2 wickets in the process, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Aamir and Vikas scored 53 and 45 runs respectively. Aamir Wani was adjudged as the man of the match for his brilliant knock.
The matches were officiated by Ankush Sharma, Shivam Sadotra, Vivek Mehra and Sohib Naik.
