JAMMU, Nov 23: The Election Commission of India (ECI) today stopped the PDP from releasing its election manifesto tomorrow as campaigning for first phase of elections had ended this evening.
The PDP was scheduled to release its election manifesto tomorrow.
Official sources said the Election Commission has conveyed to the PDP that the party can’t release its election manifesto tomorrow. Now, it can be done only on November 26 after first phase of polling will be completed in the evening of November 25.
Sources said the PDP has agreed to abide by the directions of the Election Commission and will now release its manifesto at 9 am on November 26.
