DyCM takes stock of public grievances

JAMMU, Apr 7: Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh conducted workers and public meet to address their issues, here today.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, while expressing his views on public meeting, said BJP under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi feels itself dutybound to serve the common masses. He also referred to the words of PM terming himself as the “Pradhan Sewak” and commented that every representative and public servant should feel himself and serve the society as a loyal and humble servant. The Mantra of BJP is “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” and the party is committed to mitigate every problem faced by public.
Dr. Singh said that the aim of conducting this program is to address public grievances at grass root level and BJP will conduct these type of programs on a regular basis where public can come and approach for any type of problem.
During the interaction, Dy. CM stressed on the fact that the BJP, as an alliance partner in J&K Government, is committed to provide the best PDD infrastructure in the state and the Government is committed to it.
More than 100 deputations from different regions like Bishnah, R.S. Pura, Gandhi Nagar and Jammu West etc. visited party office to discuss and present their problems. Deputations included the problems like installation and repair of electricity transformers, water scarcity, roads and others. Concerns regarding JDA and Housing Board were also raised.
Dy. CM sorted out many of deputations problems on the spot by telephonically interacting with the competent authority and forwarded the others to concerned departments with written instructions for their quick disposal.
Programme was coordinated by State Secretary and State Incharge Election Related Matters Rajinder Sharma and State Additional Office Secretary Suresh Sharma.
