KATHUA, Feb 14: Dwarkadeesh Vidyalaya Pathwal, Hiranagar celebrated its Annual Day function in school premises, here.
Former MLC Subash Chander Gupta graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The function started with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, which was followed by a colorful cultural programme presented by the students.
Earlier, Principal of the school Harbhaj Sharma presented welcome address and also school annual report.
Students of the school presented various dances on retro songs and staged some message oriented shows as well.
In his address, Subash Chander Gupta appreciated the students and school management for such a convincing performance. He said that this school is giving quality education since it opened and is being managed effectively by the School Management.
He asked the students to work with full honesty and punctuality to realize the goal of their parents and teachers.
Later, Gupta also distributed trophies and certificates among the meritorious students for their extraordinary performances in different fields.
Chander Prakash, Numberdar Parshotam, Om Prakash, Bishan Dass, Harbans Lal, Bodh Raj, Sat Paul, Master Janak Raj, Ashwani, Parveen Bharat and Ramesh Kundal were present on the occasion.
