Durga Nagar residents hold meet

JAMMU, Feb 17: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee in a meeting today held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina discussed various issues of the people of the area and response of the authorities of the JMC to the demands.
Addressing the meeting Raina said that JMC authorities have accorded permission to construction of lanes in Sector 3, Sector 2 and Sector 1.
He said the Kailashpati temple drain will be reconstructed as the same was agreed by authorities in principle.
He demanded that ration be provided to all migrants in the area, starting of matador service, upgradation of 250 kv transformer to 400 kv in Sector 1 and installation of 250 kv new transformer in Kailashpati Lane 2nd in Sector 1.
C L Zutshi, Behari Lal, Mohan Lal Pandita, Nana Ji Razdan and Ashok Ji attended the meeting.
